Delicious Mexican Combos "To Go"
SITREP
Since we've acquired a training site and recording studio at Watt & Folsom hood, it's been enjoyable checking out the new food locations nearby: El Favorito Taqueria is a nice option to have experienced.
THE SETUP
With random food trucks and McDonalds appearing to be mainstays within walking distance of our new business park location, it's nice to know that El Favorito Taqueria ("El Favorito") is another enjoyable brick & mortar restaurant that I can rely on to grab a quick lunch.
El Favorito has a surprising variety of food combos, ranging from tacos, burritos, quesadillas to enchiladas and chili rellenos.
* Order each item with whatever add-ons you like
* There's a self-serve salsa bar with several different salsa options and a sigificant variety of peppers and pickled veggies to choose from
* I've never waited more than 5-7 minutes for my order to be completed, which allows me time to get the salsas to take back to the office with me
THE LOWDOWN
An excellent stop for a reliable, delicious Mexican lunch. -

My mother and I both got ill after eating here. Wouldn't recommend. Portions were decent, and chips and salsa were free.

Fast service. Food is okay. Idk it's missing the flavor... the marinating part. I want that off the truck /cart late night spice and season!!! Plenty at the sauce bar.

I have had good and bad experiences here. Last experience I ordered the camarones al diablo. The shrimp was super salty and the beans were dry and over cooked or maybe they were scrapped from the bottom of the pan. They also placed a over ripe with black sliced avocado on my plate. I would not of served that plate to a customer. Anyway, I have been here before and I will go there again, just thought I would give y'all a heads up on what you could expect.

It's a to go place for a quick bite. Usually get the regular burritos. They have $1 taco Tuesday, they are your street tacos. However, carne asada tacos are not part of the Tuesday special. Pretty reasonable prices. Had the menudo..not my favorite. Will continue to visit probably stick to my regular burrito order.
